About CivicSense

Is CivicSense a government app?+

No. CivicSense is an independent platform. Official integrations will be shown only when formally available.

Where will CivicSense launch first?+

Kanpur is the first planned city pilot.

Reporting

What problems can I report?+

Supported categories include garbage, roads, drainage, streetlights, encroachment, stray animals, public nuisance and other civic issues.

Can I upload an old photo?+

The native reporting flow is designed around fresh camera evidence for stronger trust.

Privacy

Will my name or phone number be public?+

No. Public issue records are designed to show the reporter anonymously.

Why does CivicSense need my mobile number?+

A private OTP account helps you track reports, receive updates and reduces abuse.

AI

What does AI do?+

It can suggest categories, improve descriptions, check images and identify possible duplicates.

Can AI reject my issue by itself?+

AI assistance does not silently make irreversible civic decisions. Human review remains important.

Issue Tracking

What happens after I report?+

A suitable report can be validated, published, mapped, confirmed by others and updated through a visible timeline.

Can an issue be reopened?+

Yes. A resolved issue can be flagged if the problem returns.

Emergency

What should I do in an emergency?+

Call 112 first for immediate police, fire or medical assistance. CivicSense is not an emergency service.

Government Integration

Is CivicSense connected to KMC or NIC?+

No live integration is claimed. Connections can be added only when authorized APIs or partnerships are formally configured.

Can departments receive structured data?+

The architecture is being designed for exports, routing, APIs and webhooks where formally authorized.
